I teach saxophone performance to students at all levels from beginner to professional; clarinet and bass clarinet performance to beginner through high school students and jazz improvisation to students of all levels on all melodic instruments. Lessons are held at my home studio in Skokie, IL

My students develop their own voice and discover the joy of music in a warm, supportive yet challenging environment. My philosophy is that fundamentals of the saxophone and clarinet, sound and technique, are key to successful performance. Scroll below for links of my essays on aspects of Music Education

I am currently private instrumental faculty at Niles West High School, recommended by McCracken School in Skokie and Park View School in Morton Grove, among others,  and a recommended instructor for Evanston Band and Instrument Co. in Skokie, IL and Quinlan and Fabisch Music.

I currently have students enrolled in the following schools:
High schools: Niles West, Niles North, Evanston Township
Middle Schools: McCracken (Skokie), Nichols (Evanston), Lincoln Hall (Lincolnwood), Park View (Morton Grove), St. Mary of the Woods (Chicago)
